Gresham Hunt are pleased to be supporting an internationally renowned and swiftly growing financial services business in their search for an FP&A Associate to join their team. As part of the finance function in this high performing and fast paced business you will face off against multiple stakeholders across the group.

This role will suit a candidate looking for their first move in house who possesses strong analytical and modelling skills. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to understand and explain complex data sets.

Primary responsibilities:

• Collaborate with businesses and group treasury to develop a weekly rolling short-term cash forecast for the Group.
• Participate in the preparation of the group’s monthly management cash flow, ensuring alignment with statutory cash flow and investigating variances.
• Analyze specific cash flow items or business units in depth.
• Review and challenge cash budgets, as well as quarterly re-forecasts, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Work closely with business units to evaluate cash performance, focusing on working capital movements and variances from both budget and the prior year.
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly going concern analysis.
• Monitor the M&A pipeline, identifying cash requirements and their potential impact on forecasts.
• Prepare ad-hoc cash forecasts and historical reporting analyses for management and investors.
• Track and analyze cash flows associated with the group’s external and intra-group debt, as well as intercompany transactions.

This role is predominately home based with occasional travel into London. As such, candidates will need to be independent self starters with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
