A Lively Session on Media Careers
The hall came alive with the sound of laughter, as both young and old were in stitches when actor and motivational speaker Bosskey shared a humorous anecdote about potholes in Chennai during his talk on ‘Career in Media and Entertainment’ at the 22nd edition of The Hindu EducationPlus Career Counselling Fair.
“You don’t have to give a serious review; the undercurrent can be humor in any form of media. Do not leave humor out of life. Humor is the reason I have come up in media,” he emphasized.
Embrace Your Surroundings
Drawing on his life experiences, Bosskey advised: “Always observe your surroundings and make conversation with people. Take anything that causes you stress and make fun of it. Always observe the characters of people. Take the humor from them, and incorporate that into your stand-up comedy.”
Encouragement for Parents
He also urged parents not to compare their children with others, stating: “Never think that your child might not achieve anything.”
Commitment to Your Craft
Bosskey stressed the importance of commitment and punctuality in the arts: “Stay committed. Do not give excuses for small things. If you become a slave for excuses, you’ll be the boss of your failures.”
